Berlin-based international DJ for brands, events & dancefloors.
Ariane, also known as INKAARI, derives her DJ name from a fusion of her Peruvian heritage, inspired by the “Inkas,” and a shortened version of her name, “Ari” – hence, INKA+ARI.
Originally from southern Germany, she has spent years living and working in various global cities. Being surrounded by different cultures and sounds has naturally shaped the way she listens to and experiences music.
With her open-minded personality, she never really stuck to just one genre. From Latin sounds to electronic and bass-heavy rhythms, she loves bringing different influences together.
For INKAARI, DJing is about bringing people together through music. She loves reading the room, feeling the energy and creating those moments where everyone is on the same wavelength.
MY MUSIC GENRES:
Music is a universal language – and that’s exactly what I aim to express in my sets.
My sound is globally inspired, bass-heavy and always moving between different influences. I love bringing taking listeners on a journey through rhythms from around the world.
You might hear Reggaeton, Dembow or Brazilian Funk next to Tech house, Dancehall, UK Garage, Breakbeats or something completely unexpected.
Music exists everywhere in the world and in every culture it brings people together. That’s why I’m soooo grateful to be able to create these moments of connection.
